How Does WhatsApp make its Earnings?
Whatsapp was developed in 2009 by Brian Acton and Jan Koum.
Literary, when Whatsapp came into the market it nearly killed MMS and SMS
services by 2011, and is known to be the best messaging app in the world.
Whatsapp allows its users to share Pictures, Videos, GIF images, Documents,
Audios and Whatsapp Profile Pictures. What makes whatsapp great is the Privacy.
There are nearly no privacy issues in WhatsApp.
When we talk about WHATSAPP EARNINGS we see that there are no adds on WhatsApp. No Games! No Ads! No Gimmicks! So how does WhatsApp make money? Well, the only source of WhatsApp’s Earnings is through SUBSCRIPTIONS. Yes!!!!!!! It takes 1$ for the first time in most of the countries while in other countries it’s given free for the first time while 1$ for subsequent years. WhatsApp adds nearly 1 million users on daily. Currently having 700 million active users, WhatsApp’s revenue adds up 700$ million per year.
When we talk about privacy we see that the
speculations have been made in the industry that Facebook acquired WhatsApp for
accessing the user’s behavioral data and their personal information. With 30 billion
messages sent per day and access to the users contact list, Facebook got access
to a load of personal information of users, everything uploaded and saved to
its servers every second. The facebook’s
owner mark Zuckerberg promises that tis data wont be used to improve consumer
targeting for Facebook ads, a question
is still raised about how private
our data really is….
